A Drift compares the latest Discovery with an earlier Discovery.

GroundForge records a Drift because the input schema gained units. A Drift may represent:
  • a capability that was added;
  • a capability that was removed;
  • an input or output schema that changed;
  • descriptive metadata that changed.
A Drift does not update Gateway rules automatically. It tells you that rules, integrations, or documentation may need review.
