An Observation is a saved finding about something GroundForge saw while a request was running.

Example

The latest Agent Discovery lists:
During a request, the Agent attempts to call:
GroundForge can record an Observation because the runtime call does not match the latest discovered capability list. Use the linked Trace to understand the request. Then check the Agent or MCP source. Run Discovery again only when the capability source has actually changed.

CLI example

Viewing Observations reads saved records. It does not contact or restart the Agent. See Discovery, Drifts, and Traces.
